The Kitchen House- Kathleen Grissom

With horrid premonition, I saw in the future the likelihood of this man becoming a victim of my own unhappiness.

This book was my first ever Book Club Book. Woof. It’s a book I read thinking “this can’t get much sadder, can it?” And watched as it continues to get sadder. However, I think it’s an important book. One that people should read and should remember that all of this was just not that long ago.

GoodReads: 4 star. Probably 4.5 stars.

Recommend: Yes. To Everyone. You should read it- just maybe not on your vacation.
